It can also be a helpful tool for all business professionals who need to use English for work or for anyone else who might wish to develop in this field.<\/p>\n<p>The book comprises 12 practice tests designed around two main sections \u2013 Reading Comprehension (Gapped text or True\/False) and Use of English (which, in turn, is divided into four parts: Open Cloze, Multiple Choice, Error Identification and Word Formation) \u2013, alongside a Speaking and a Writing File, both of which presenting learners with sample tasks\/topics and exam tips.<\/p>\n<p>While the Speaking File introduces a wide variety of business topics (such as <em>Professional Communication<\/em>, <em>Employment<\/em>, <em>Management<\/em>, <em>Business Ethics<\/em>, <em>Marketing &amp; Advertising<\/em>, <em>Banking<\/em>, <em>Finance &amp; Accounting<\/em> etc.) through short glossaries of terms and tentative questions for discussion, the Writing File presents students with sample writing tasks, various task types (letters, reports, proposals, essays) and sample pieces of writing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">Gabriela Mocan<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Gabriela Mocan lectures in Business English and Intercultural Communication at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Babe\u0219-Bolyai University. Her research interests include identity studies, intercultural communication, cultural management, diplomacy, translation studies and migrant literatures. With over 15 years\u2019 teaching experience, working with students at all levels and from various backgrounds, Dr. Mocan holds a PhD in Cultural Studies\/ Philology and, between 2013-2019, she worked as Head of Literature, Architecture and Visual Arts at the Romanian Cultural Institute in London.
