ENT Basics

The ENT Basics was written on the idea of offering medical students as well as residents in otolaryngology the latest and most up-to-date information on diagnosis and treatment in our speciality. To fulfill these demands, the author used his ENT specialist and teaching experience, gained over many years of work in the ENT Department of University of Medicine and Pharmacy from Cluj-Napoca.

He managed to realize a standardized structure for each chapter so as to offer the reader easy and quick access to the whole material. High quality pictures and drawings provide additional useful content. Detailed references allow the interested reader to further investigate areas of individual interest.

Basic clinical and therapeutic procedures are presented together with the latest advances in diagnosis and therapy (endoscopy, modern imagistic techniques, modern audiology assessment) without omitting collaborations with other related specialities (oncology, ophtalmology, neurology), all of them making possible the best management of the ENT patient.
