Laura-Rebeca Stiegelbauer holds a Doctorate in Philology from Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași. She has been teaching English at the “Vasile Goldiș” Western University of Arad since 2006. Her academic journey began with a passion for British Oral History and British Culture and Civilisation, which fostered a deep understanding of cultural nuances and linguistic variations. This foundation has informed her current research interests in translation studies, the methodology of teaching English, and English for Specific Purposes (ESP), where she explores how cultural context influences language use and pedagogy.
She has published extensively in national and international journals and authored several specialized books. Her scholarly activity is marked by contributions to applied linguistics, foreign language didactics, and participation in national and international conferences.
